I wasn't eating my berries fast enough...so I dipped them real quick tonight to take to work tomorrow. :) One of my fave things in the whole world is a dipped strawberry! Yum!

Seitan "French Dip" made out of a homemade seitan log. This was so much better than the other one I made with the Seitan Cutlets from Veganomicon. I also used a store bought Au Jus broth that was vegan. YUM!

I wonder if this is how these flowers grow naturally, or whether it had been "dyed". Just a small Chrysanthemum - the only one of the bunch left, by the time I finally managed to get a quick shot or two.
We took a trip to an area of queens that feels like the 'burbs because Billy needed to go to Home Depot, and I went a long because there is a MICHAEL'S there! A real, big, stocked to the brim with crafty goodness suburbia-like Michael's. None of that wonky, tiny, out-of-stock in everything Manhattan crap.
So, I got fabric dye and a white tote bag and I went to town today.
I quite like it. It came out way lighter than I intended it to be, but I really like the vintage-like quality it gives it.
