Preparing for a checkride at Bedford, Ma.
The C-54 requires all 8 tanks to be dipped, since only the 4 main tanks have gauges. I have just dipped tanks #1 & #2 auxs, as well as the mains and am heading over to the other wing to repeat the process.
This is the main thing and we always forget how long time it takes and how slim the candles we make are. But it is enjoyable and no other candles have such beautiful flames.

Superbowl Sunday, oh man.
Christina Aguilera messed up the national anthem, the halftime show (Black Eyed Peas) was TERRIBLE, and the game (as usual for me) was uninteresting. At least the commercials were entertaining! I wish there had been more good ones though.
We made 7 layer bean dip! I thought more people were coming over, but Jessica was the only one. The result: I ate a TON of dip.

This was the first november FOWSC session of the season.
Me, Vince, Gregg and Dylan (who is over from America) hit the beautiful UK sea and went for a dip.
Amazingly Dylan is from North Dakota and has never been in the sea in his entire life, so piling into the 10 degree November freezefest was pretty damn amazing.
