I've spent a long time up on the NW Coast of Tas, but never managed to make it to Dip Falls before. It had been raining beforehand (and a bit during), but I thought they were spectacular. I've never seen a waterfall over dolerite columns before. It made a beautiful spreading flow, with the hexagonal disks to look down on at the bottom. Well worth a visit.

This is my first trekking outside of Cebu after throwing a big surprise to my dear Mom and brother. I came home to Cebu unannounced and unbeknownst to everyone July 13th, Thursday.
Adrian, the guy in red, was the first of the 3 closest friends of mine who came in to Cebu and he is the one who met me at the airport and brought me over to our house.
His alibi in coming to our house was to pick up my Mom for a dinner rendezvous with friends after picking up his cousins from the airport.
The following day with few hours of sleep, we all travelled to Negros Occidental to take a much needed rest at Mambukal Mountain Resort courtesy of the husband and wife team of Nitzi and Gary (the lady in black and the guy in yellow).
Here we are just testing the warm waters of the dipping pool whose water source comes from a sulphur spring located a few meters away.

In your crockpot, add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, and shredded cooked chicken! YUMMO!!!!!!! It is so good!!! Try it with corn chips! :D

Freeze all varieties on wax or parchment paper for several hours, until the coating has hardened. Remove to freezer-safe bags or containers for storage until ready to eat.
I recently did handwritten wedding invitations for one of Luke's friend at work's sister who is getting married in January. I haven't pulled my dip pens out in a while so it was really fun getting to play with them again.
Today we had a drive up to Stanage Edge with the purpose of watching the sun go down. We've not done this for a while, so once I'd done all my baking (that's a whole other story!), we jumped in the car with cameras and binoculars, wellies and coats and off we went. Unfortunately, my neck has been playing up again the last couple of days, so I stayed at the car whilst the others went for a walk up the rocks. It was freezing up there. I used my trusty little compact to take some panoramics and the sun dipping down. All the sunset shots are SOOC with no post processing.
These Dipped pretzels are as easy as 1,2 3! You simply dip pretzel rods in caramel and drain off excess. Lay out on parchment paper to dry. 2. Dip in your choice of chocolate. (I used a glass drinking cup to melt my chocolate in because it is tall and skinny) 3. Sprinkle with your favorite toppings or sprinkles! That is all there it to it!
But of course remember that the visit is the most important part, not what you take!
We waited for our parents, so to fill the time we made some potato chips and a nice little tomato ginger garlic onion cream dip with some roasted peanuts ontop
So some Eejit came up with this idea to do 52 diptychs in 2012 . one mono and one colour . So i`ll be uploading mine every Sunday for the next 52 weeks !! ..................
And No !! this isn`t my 2012 project , just a sidebar so to speak ....... thought it might be fun ;-))
After hours of swimming, skipping, jumping around, playing in the lake, David needed a break to reflect over the sheer beauty of an august sunset at the beach. Maybe he was a little bit cold too...

Standing water at the edge of the beach parking lot had this interesting textured pattern on the pool's floor. Closer inspection revealed hundreds of tiny inhabitants. Polliwogs!
I wonder if these are the rare spade foot toads - which aren't really toads at all, but frogs.
