i received my care package from mum & dad today, with the usual tim-tams, violet crumble, picnics and jelly babies in! but this time mum threw in some aussie cookie cutters! WOO! =D i wouldn't have any idea where to start decorating them though LOL! Better do some research!
she also knitted me a weird purple beanie and enclosed a very old hershey's cookbook!
Surgiu a discussão em um grupo do qual participo, há uns meses atrás, sobre como conservar a lâmina, já que ela desgasta rapidamente. Bom depois de um mês de teste resolvi postar a minha experiência: Coloquei a parte de corte em um saquinho plástico e amarrei pra que ele ficasse bem fechadinho. Não é que deu certo!!! Quebrei todos os recordes com uma Lâmina: 1 mês e vários cortes.

Just Another Silage Chopper
As simple as that -- or perhaps a complicated. The small, broad wheel on the left is the drive belt pulley; one could connect this to a 'one lung' stationary engine or the Power Take Off (PTO) pulley on the farm tractor. A series of gears convert speed into power, and a clutch system engages to drive the blades, which resemble nothing so much as an old-fashioned reel-type lawnmower. With the open wheels and unprotected gears, this thing is a safety nightmare, an accident looking for a place to happen. Still, it must have done a great job; someone decided to preserve it to the current day.

Junior Dan Woldtvedt, a biomedical sciences major, uses a diamond-tipped band saw to slice through a cow bone in a lab on the Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences campus on Saturday, September 22, 2007. Woldtvedt, along with graduate student Wes Womack, not pictured, created a three-dimensional model of the cartlidge in the human spinal cord. It is used to predict the reactions to stress placed on that cartlidge.
