A small brass cutter in the shape of a heart.
The cutter was used for cutting out yokan; a thick jellied dessert made of red bean paste, agar, and sugar, by the Yamake family. The Yamake family ran a bakery shop, 'Kasugaka Shoten' from the mid-1920s until 1942 when they were forced to evacuate.

There are many Bees in the UK that do not live in hives nor do they live in great colonies armed with stings that could cripple. These bees dont carry a sting and live a lonely life. A solitary life in a hole in the ground. One such is the Leaf Cutter Bee which builds its nest from bits of leaf. The underside is orange and are usually seen flying with bits of leaf in their jaws.

Make sure to adjust the template to your material. using 3.3mm hardboard on the 3mm layout (which uses 2.9mm holes) really sucked. I now have three boxes but only one is without itches/broken spring :-(
Also the bottom is nearly at the maximum width of the laser cutter area. Either you have some minor-oversized hardboard or you can live with some incomplete elements. It both will work but not if you're a perfectionist...
