One of the few physical features I actually love about myself is my hair. I am a curly girl. It has never been touched with chemicals. No coloring, bleaching, perms, straightens,etc.. For this picture I just conditioned it and let it dry.

Paul wanted to see what I'd look like with curly hair so yesterday I popped to Argos to get a pair of cheap curling tongs (which for £3.97 had a very good star rating so we thought worth trying).

This morning I washed and straightened my hair as usual and then it was Paul who actually curled my hair. I have tried this sort of thing before and it's not easy, especially with shorter hair. As it was his idea I handed over the curling tongs and away he went. I decided to clip my fringe back because it was wavying all over the place (we need to perfect the curling tong effect).

Apart from spending time as the "hairdressers" Paul went back to tiling (or laying out the tiles for) the bathroom floor. I did some food shopping, cleaned the kitchen and did some hoovering. All very domesticated :-)

One of many shots I took of Hillary this evening as we played and watched the boys play hockey. I was moved to take whole bunch of snapshots to capture her last few days of being two, as she turns three this Saturday....

More photos to come when we get back from a little camping excursion, we leave early tomorrow.
