After all these years of being nappy, would you look at what I just noticed? Goes to show I wasn't paying attention. Sometimes I would feel these and they felt like strands clumped together (which they are) and I'd just think I hadn't detangled properly and I better comb more thoroughly. Turns out I just have two slivers on my head (where devils horns would be) of curlies. Let's keep this our secret. Over on one of the hair forums they praise the uniformity of my texture, nearly all of which is like the other fluff you see, and I wouldn't want to get knocked off my uniformity pedestal.
Curly grows his own tomatoes and sells them at the Farmers Market in Portland where I saw him today.
He wasn't too talkative, but he let me make his portrait.

Now Curly is not only Curly's name (that's what I named her), but a breed known for their calm, intelligent, friendly personalities and an inability to stand still for a decent photograph...... I know, I know..... shutter speed, but I am trying a new, lighter camera, the Nikon 1, which is not, as I've discovered, suited to action shots.....
