In this competition you can see (and listen) again BRMs from Jackie Stewart and Graham Hill, Lorenzo Bandini's Ferrari, Bruce Mclaren's Cooper and Jim Clark's Lotus and Richard Attwood among others.

Got my guy (Torrin) a mini cooper just like me to cruise around in! Just gotta make a new license plate.

Cooper's Hawk...Look at those red eyes! The first time I've ever seen one fly right into my yard and sit literally right over one of my bird feeders. Looked up some information on these hawks and they do watch the feeders in yards so my backyard birds got lucky this morning. He flew away without his prey!

COOPER'S HAWK-12182572.jpg

I took this photograph in the paddock at the Vintage Sports Car Club's meeting at Donington Park in June 2003. The car would have competed in the Flockhart Trophy Race, but there's no number 223 listed in the programme of the event in that race, nor in any of the races at that meeting. It looks like the 2 litre 1957 Cooper T43 of Tania Pilkington, which did take part in that race but was supposed to be number 117. If it is Tania Pilkington's car it's chassis #F2-24-57. Car number 6 behind the Cooper is the 1,071cc 1960 BMC MkI of Grant Wilson that was entered in the Front-Engined Formula Junior Cars race.

View of the Ravenel Bridge, as seen from Mt. Pleasant, across the Cooper River from Charleston, South Carolina.

The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, also known as the New Cooper River Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge over the Cooper River in South Carolina, connecting downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant. The eight lane bridge satisfied the capacity of U.S. Route 17 when it opened in 2005 to replace two obsolete cantilever truss bridges. The bridge has a main span of 1,546 feet (471 m), the longest among cable-stayed bridges in the Western Hemisphere. It was built using the design-build method and was designed by Parsons Brinckerhoff.
