“Piccoli esploratori (fashion) crescono”
Grazie a tutti!
It just dawned on me that 'cooper' is the root word of 'cooperate'.
Well, I'm sure Mr. Cooper ate something that afternoon, but I'm sure glad he decided to cooperate with me.

Cooper is a sweetheart. I never knew that all calico cats are female; at least that's what my wife was told.

Welcome home Cooper. Cooper was just adopted and relaxing in the lawn. Freed from the cage and enjoying the afternoon sun.

Not the best shot I've had of one of these creatures by any means, but it's needed to tell the story of this sighting. :)
I had just put my dog in the truck after todays walk, when I heard the unmistakable call of a Coopers Hawk close by. I've heard that call plenty often enough, and the most I've seen of these guys lately is a tail feather poking out over the edge of their nest! So I slowly circled the tree he was perched in and out to the fore he hops as if to say 'hello, I'm still here!' I have a sneaking suspicion there might be another nest in this area about a half mile west of the nest I've been monitoring! I'll have to come back tomorrow and see what I can find!
