For Easter dinner, my wife prepared a ham dinner. For sides we had okra, deviled eggs, green bean casserole, hash brown potato casserole, and cross buns. Here the okra is cooking in the frying pan.
My brother gave my daughter a lesson in how to make Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. She took notes but after he left she said it will be hard to replicate because he doesn't use any actual measurements. So it will be her challenge!
on our way to mudh, we tried to make hot tea in the roadside-open-to-sky kitchen of road menders. as there was cool breeze, our water temperature did not rose much, so finally we had to use those workers' hot water to make tea.

...the BF will be having mashed potatoes, sauteed cabbage, and milk-poached chicken for dinner. Basically STUFF WITH BUTTER AND SALT AND PEPPER AND MAYBE SOME MILK IN. (I'll be having a poached egg in place of the chicken.)
I came across this recipe for Spinach Ricotta Gnocchi, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. What better meal for Valentine's Day then something that is a process of cooking love?! These pictures chart the journey in the kitchen!

Teaching my cooking class why washing hands is important. "Control" was handled with tongs. "Washed" was handled with washed hands. All others were touched by students just long enough to pass it to the next guy (4 diff classes). In 4 weeks, look how much mold their germy hands generated!
