i have been making peanut butter cookies since i was a teenager. in fact...when i first started cooking...i could make three things: peanut butter cookies...pancakes...and cakes.
i don't usually eat sweets...but when i do...i want these! yum!
This is in the covered market in Oxford. The people are queueing to buy cookies. I didn't notice at fiorst, but two of them have been shopping in the same shop.
A layer of marzipan sandwiched and rolled between two different flavours of sugar cookie. Add almonds, slice and bake.

Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Combine softened cream cheese, margarine, and sugars. Blend in
egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add
chocolate chips and mix.
Bake 15-18 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
