It is amazing how much there is to make pictures of, in spite of the fact that I've only left the house about 3 times since March.
This makes the corner of my kitchen look rather more attractive than it is in reality!

Here I broke the Garage Saler's Law of never buying a used pressure cooker. But this one has the locking handle, the pressure gauge and a very good gasket. For a buck, I thought it was still a good deal. I have a giant 36-quart one but wanted a little one too.
Manual in every sense, many parts not working very well, but still it cooked many wonderful meals and we feel sad that it's gone.
This slightly odd looking loaf is fresh out of the pressure cooker. We've had a succession of problems with our Mastervolt Mass-Combi inverter/charger. As a result of which I've been unable to use the oven for a spell. Pressure cooker bread has no crust, if you cook it as I do in a stainless steel bowl, within the pressure cooker to avoid burning, but it is surprisingly moist and springy and as tasty as anything to come out of the oven.
This Hui woman and her husband live with five of their grandchildren in this house. The grandchildren are fatherless and their mother has since remarried into another village. It is now the responsibility of the grandparents to care for five young children. Life is very hard for them.
I'd not yet set the time or removed the colourful sticker. I'm probably using the wrong kind of rice - it's Sainsbury's Easy Cook.
The rice cooker came with a free bag of fragrant thai rice, but I gave that to Ernest's Mum.
I hope the instruction etched into the bowl isn't important because I've no idea what it says.
the old on was a pot style and always burned the rice and left me with not a lot of rice left to use so I got this one instead. It doesn't have all the nice functions on it, but I can't afford those nice ones. This one does just as well.
This morning, my wife gave our gas cooker a clean down (and as the parts were left to dry on the sink drainer, I thought maybe there is something to use for us macro and still life enthusiasts.
I actually bracketed +2EV and -2EV but found the exposure from the camera was more or less spot on in between at 0EV. In LR I did tweak the contrast +5 and the blacks +5 to make sure the perspex held its darkness and should no dust specs.
Central composition and in PS a layer with a high pass filter was the last action after a small matching frame had been added.
