Picked this car up at the dealer today. No. it's not mine. I am a member of the Stayner, ON Lions Club and they have just purchased the car as the prize in a fundraising raffle. This is one hot car and the Grabber Orange paint scheme makes it a real standout!

Some have called this the ugliest car ever. Built in 1957, it is a Spohn Convertible, one of the last Spohns built. Spohn was a coach builder from Ravensburg, Germany, who was credited with building bodies for the pre-war Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz, and Maybach.
Each Spohn car was built to the buyer's specifications. Less than 200 Spohns were made, and no two are alike.
This particular Spohn was built on a 1939 Ford chassis with a 1953 Cadillac 331 cubic inch V8 engine and it has a 3-speed Ford transmission.
Wayne Carini and Ralph Marano own this car, which has appeared on the TV show Chasing Classic Cars.
