Narrow cabbed Constructor 8 fitted with roll-on/roll-off gear of A.D Hill from the West Midlands was captured in their yard some years ago now. On that Bristol reg. I wonder if the motor was Ex.Hemmings?
Not many "old" lorries to be seen in Northern Ireland but I did come across this well kept Leyland Constructor 24.21 on a trip in 2007.

Black Prince operated a cut-down ex-Ribble Leyland PD2 as a towing vehicle. This fictional Leyland Constructor, which has been updated with a Leyland-DAF 60 grille panel, would have provided a heavy lift facility as well as more comprehensive breakdown assistance. Whereas the PD2 was predominately dark red with yellow bands, the Constructor has been outshopped in a predominately yellow livery with dark red skirt. The beauty of Black Prince’s livery was that there was no standard style of application (13-Apr-24).

Malvern based J Prosser and Son have been in operation since 1922. Luckily they have many pictures of their past vehicles (and there are a fair few on Flickr too) - today I was able to copy a few of their prints.
Any quality issues are entirely down to this photographer and not the original one!
Many thanks to Gary and Chris Prosser.
This Leyland rigid is seen as it enters a quarry at Dingli to tip its load.
This lorry is a pretty typical example of well engineered kit of parts with a cab from a 16.17 Freighter, a TL11C engine and a non-Leyland double drive back end.
This is what's great about Malta! :-)
Caught at rush hour on Merton High Street in 1981 this Oxford registered AEC Mercury flatbed and what looks like a 1981 Coventry registered Leyland Constructor [?] following up behind.
I had considerable difficulty scanning this print. It has a large amount of reflected light that I have toned down with the scanner tools. I usually upload exactly what is on the negative with no tweaks. [Not a good print!]
