French Connection is a company founded in the United Kingdom in 1972 which sells clothing and accessories(in this case my specs). in 1997 french connection branded there clothes "fcuk". though they insist this is an acronym of FRENCH CONNECTION UNITED KINGDOM its similarity to the word f#ck caused controversy. French connection fully exploited this with a range of T shirts such as "fcuk this" "fcuk fashion" "hot as fcuk" "mile high fcuk" "too busy to fcuk" "lucky fcuk" " fun comes usually kneeling" "fcuk on the beach" etc. there were specific regional messages as " no fcuking worries" in austrialia. in 2001, during introduction of french connection san francisco big banners hung on the front of the newly opened store saying "san franciscos first fcuk".
It's funny how life can bring connections to you that you never thought possible. Maybe bringing a personal issue to light you'd never thought of before, or helping someone else connect their dots as well.
