Upped the wattage of the lights in my lightbox and wanted to test it out, so I turned one of my Chubs into an Orbital Frame.
In 2012 we received from NASA an order for 6 new models of International Space Station. NASA requested to modify our current model in order to represent the latest changes and additions to ISS so the model will depict the most current and updated configuration.
The foam lining in the transit cases for modified models was adjusted accordingly to accommodate the models and new separate elements.
Along with the order of 6 modified models for NASA we also produced one model in luxury edition for CERN, which was shipped to Geneva, Switzerland and receive excellent feedbacks for its accuracy and versatility.

The final configuration of these Wreck Beach friends and musicians is as there original group: "The Rekkerz", Wayne Legreeley takes on lead guitar and vocals with Jamie Strachen on drums and lead vocals despite a nasty lung infection, and Brian Berry on base and backing vocals. Classic 60s & 70s Rock 'n' Roll and R&B, familiar territory for this group, all songs they know and love. Great show boys! and Thanks to Jamie and Brian for backing all 3 configurations, it was a long night, 4 hours of music from 9:00 p,m. PDT June 27, to 1:00 a.m. June 28. Four hours of playing for Jamie and Brian.
This is a photograph from the 4th and final round of the 2017 Pat Finnerty Memorial 5KM Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 24th May 2017 at 20:00. This is the final round and consequently some of the decisions around the final configuration of the category prizes are still open for resolution. The Road League is promoted and organised by Mulligar Harriers Athletic Club and sponsored by local sponsors including O'Brien's Renault dealership. This is a very well established as an annual event which takes place on every Wednesday night in the month of May. Tonight's weather was absolutely wonderful. Warm summer air filled the Belvedere area as the runners were treated to perfect summer weather. Just under 200 participants took part in the race which runs a traffic free course over a mix of road and hilly forest trail. Congratulations are due to all of the Mullingar Harriers club who put this excellent series together.

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. My first configurations box... I created this for my older sister as a birthday gift. She loves the beach, but now lives land-locked so I thought it would be a nice reminder for her. I used a variety of real shells, paper from the DCWV "Tradewinds" stack, acrylic paint, various TH products (mini spinner and crackle paint) and some miscellaneous charms from a dear friend (thanks, Zoe!). The lighting for these photographs is terrible so I don't think they do this project justice. It will sound conceited, but this was way more beautiful in real life. LOL.
This shows the menu item that you're supposed to click to get to the components configuration. That is where you must go to finish the setup process for the component.

When i heard we were going to a haunted house, i thought, "why not bring my Lament Configuration to use as a prop?" Funny story, a fly started buzzing around, loudly at this point. Later it flew in my ear. Good times. ;)

Configurations of technologies have advanced. With old TVs, you had the choice to change channels, alter the volume and adjust the color. Now, menus have become a lot more detailed and confusing!

This is a photograph from a set of photographs taken at the St. Coca's AC 5KM Road Race 2016 which was held in Kilcock, Co. Kildare, Ireland at 20:00 on Friday 24th June 2016. This superb road race is now firmly established again as one of the fastest and best organised road races of it's kind in Leinster. The race follows a left handed course around a well known local walking route around Laragh and in the closing kilometer runs parallel to the Royal Canal into the finish at the railway station in the town having started at the primary school close to the St. Coca's running track. In fact for several hundred meters after the 4KM marker towards the finish the course runs parallel with the railway, canal and the R148 between Kilcock and Maynooth. This geographic feature is one of only a small number with this parallel configuration in all of Europe.
The members of St. Coca's AC and the many volunteers from the local community must be given great praise for organising another fantastic night of racing for runners, joggers, and walkers. The 5KM course is very flat with the exception of short incline up a motorway overpass and makes its way along narrow country lanes sheltered on either side by hedgerows. The nice summer evening made for an enjoyable night for everyone with a large crowd gathering at the finish to cheer on participants. Refreshments and prize awards were held in the Kilcock GAA club near to both the race start and close to the St. Coca's running track.

This is my first attempt at any type of shadow box or larger assemblage piece. This pic is of the top of the lid and the first piece of paper I had put in place for the interior of the box.
The Azureus Configuration Wizard is to wizardry what GOB in Arrested Development is to magic. Well, no, it's worse than that.
This is the first thing you see when you run Azureus. How can I, before I have used the application, know if I'm a beginner, intermediate or advanced user? How can I possibly know the implications? "It's in your best interest to set it properly." Oh yeah? Is it impossible to change it afterwards? Will the movie industry be more or less likely to sue me if I choose one option over the other?
And why should I visit the BitTorrent vocabulary? Are there any answers to my questions there? Why not show me the application so I can get some context here?
Well, I started this application to download some video, not to read a dictionary or meet a wizard. So I settle with the default option and click "Next >".

The C60 Sphere didn't quite have the pentagon ring alignment for that shape so I improvised a bit.

The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

The original composition and configuration of the stained glass in the window it was specifically designed for in the small Catholic church in Ilmington, now closed and converted to use as a shop. Recreated digitally using my photos of the panels ex situ with reference to the remaining stonework in Ilmington.
In 2024 I was asked to adapt a collection of stained glass panels that had been in storage for over a decade for re-installation at the Catholic chapel in Brailes. The glass was the work of late Arts & Crafts artist Donald Brooke of Long Compton and must have been one of his last works dating from 1968. Collectively the panels formerly comprised the sanctuary window in the former Catholic church in Ilmington and were removed when the church closed in 2010 and was adapted to new use. The ten panels originally filled a mullioned window of six lights (two rows of three) and were so close to the dimensions of the six lights (across three windows) on the north side at Brailes that they would fit with little alteration necessary (beyond enlarging the panels with plain glass) and their subject matter of Catholic Martyrs also being most appropriate to this formerly secret place of worship opened at a time when celebrating Mass was still illegal.
The panels were reworked and enlarged at my workshop in Rugby and installed in the Catholic church at Brailes (with the help of Tim Clevely) on 13th/14th of March 2025.
Not far away from the impressive ancient parish church of Brailes is the Roman Catholic church of St Peter & St Paul, unusual in having been converted from the upper floor of a medieval barn (later used as a malthouse) attached to the side of the former Rectory Farm. The chapel was created in 1726 as a secret recusant church (predating Catholic Emancipation by a century), thus the completely domestic exterior gives nothing away. Only when one ascends a staircase to the right of the main door of the adjacent house does one encounter the extraordinary 18th century church complete with its original fittings and painted altarpiece of the Crucifixion. As a reminder of less tolerant times, it is a rare survival and a little known gem and one of the oldest Post-reformation Catholic churches in the country.

The chapel has recently been redecorated and adorned with a series of stained glass panels by Donald Brooke salvaged from the redundant chapel in Ilmington, stored here for many years since that church's closure and installed in the north windows in March 2025.
In the initial configuration, the motors were mounted below the Duralumin mount, using prop savers to attach the propellers. This configuration looked cool, but had a few disadvantages: the low-flying propeller clipped the cable strap several times and the motors gathered too much dust and grass upon landings. I also lost a propeller twice, as the prop saver slowly moved off the motor spindle during flight, no matter how hard I tried to tighten the screws.
Now the motors are attached to the top of the mounts, which should avoid these problems, but might increase the vibration. This remains to be tested.
