The Russian Federal Space Program (Roscosmos) has suffered ignominious set backs to an ambitious lunar exploration effort under development in recent years, Following the loss of the Phobos-Grunt mission, the Russian cancelled a joint mission designed to ferry the ISRO Chandrayaan-2 lunar rover to the lunar surface and sent their Grunt standard prototype lander back to the drawing board. Above, a notional view of the Grunt descent stage, also designed to carry a sampling return configuration, is shown delivering India's rover, as it might have appeared [Anatoly Zak/RussianSpaceWeb].
In 2012 we received from NASA an order for 6 new models of International Space Station. NASA requested to modify our current model in order to represent the latest changes and additions to ISS so the model will depict the most current and updated configuration.
The foam lining in the transit cases for modified models was adjusted accordingly to accommodate the models and new separate elements.
Along with the order of 6 modified models for NASA we also produced one model in luxury edition for CERN, which was shipped to Geneva, Switzerland and receive excellent feedbacks for its accuracy and versatility.

The final configuration of these Wreck Beach friends and musicians is as there original group: "The Rekkerz", Wayne Legreeley takes on lead guitar and vocals with Jamie Strachen on drums and lead vocals despite a nasty lung infection, and Brian Berry on base and backing vocals. Classic 60s & 70s Rock 'n' Roll and R&B, familiar territory for this group, all songs they know and love. Great show boys! and Thanks to Jamie and Brian for backing all 3 configurations, it was a long night, 4 hours of music from 9:00 p,m. PDT June 27, to 1:00 a.m. June 28. Four hours of playing for Jamie and Brian.
During the residency we worked on the video installation aspect of the exhibition. Our ideas for the video were very fluid when we commenced the residency. We had 70 minutes of raw footage shot at Melbourne City Baths but not yet a clear idea of how it would hang together. We spent a lot of time watching the projected raw footage and getting to know it, pulling out the sequences that spoke to us without necessarily having a concept for the editing.
We had the benefit of being in the space so we experimented with a number of configurations for projecting the footage, seeing how differently these affected the experience of it. We fixed on having five projection screens that spanned two angles of the room, one following an existing wall and the other at an oblique angle to it. The scale and orientation of the screens mirrored the proportions of the swimming pool, so we could to some degree allude to the experience of being in the underwater environment.
Devising an editorial approach to the footage could not have happened without this access to the space. The spatial nature of the projected video and the scale and proportions of the space were integral to informing how we would construct a ‘narrative’ from what was a fairly abstract and loosely structured collection of underwater takes.

This is a photograph from the 4th and final round of the 2017 Pat Finnerty Memorial 5KM Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 24th May 2017 at 20:00. This is the final round and consequently some of the decisions around the final configuration of the category prizes are still open for resolution. The Road League is promoted and organised by Mulligar Harriers Athletic Club and sponsored by local sponsors including O'Brien's Renault dealership. This is a very well established as an annual event which takes place on every Wednesday night in the month of May. Tonight's weather was absolutely wonderful. Warm summer air filled the Belvedere area as the runners were treated to perfect summer weather. Just under 200 participants took part in the race which runs a traffic free course over a mix of road and hilly forest trail. Congratulations are due to all of the Mullingar Harriers club who put this excellent series together.
Timing and event management was provided by http://www.myrunresults.com/. Their website will contain the results to today's race.

Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.

Note the wall at the top of the stairs is gone, and the stairs no longer curve to the right at the top, but now go straight up to the new landing. The decision to take down that wall and reconfigure the hallway has made a world of difference to the flow of the second floor. Brilliant!
North American TP-51C Mustang
www.cfdn.org/ma_p51mustang.htm
World’s only dual control P-51C Mustang. The P-51 is arguably the greatest fighter aircraft ever produced, certainly the most recognizable and legendary of the Second World War. Today there are less than five of the early B/C models left flying. The "C" model is easily recognizable by it's “razorback” configuration as opposed to the P-51D with its “bubble canopy” that came out later in the war.
The Collings Foundation's Mustang #42-103293 "Betty Jane" was built in Dallas, TX. It went through a meticulous restoration in 2004 and was rebuilt as a two-seat version of the P-51C. The WWII two-seat conversions of the P-51B/C were a field modification that could be used for training purposes and VIP transport. There were approximately a dozen P-51B/Cs converted from tired, war weary aircraft. The most famous of these was named "The Stars Look Down" and was used by Dwight Eisenhower. "Ike" rode in the back seat of that Mustang over the beaches of Normandy after the invasion on D-Day.
The Collings Foundation's Dual Control TP-51C "Betty Jane" is the only one of its type in existence today. Its paint scheme honors Col. Charles McCorkle, P-51 pilot and Commander of the 31st Fighter Group with bases in Algeria, Tunisia, Malta, Sicily and Italy. McCorkle was an excellent fighter pilot with 11 confirmed kills under his belt, 6 of them in a P-51 Mustang named "Betty Jane". The 31st led the Mediterranean Theatre of Operation in air combat victories with a total of 671 kills. Charles McCorkle lived in NH and passes away in 2009.
The configuration process before delivery to students. Laptops aligned my house using my wireless network for final configuration and software installation!
The P-38 was a radical design, with its twin-boom configuration and turbosupercharged V-12s. The engines were actually counter-rotating so that the torques would cancel out, which made the plane very stable but also expensive, since the engines were not interchangeable. A long teething process meant that at the start of WW II the AAF's fighter units were equipped with the less advanced P-39 and P-40, and it took a year or more to replace them with P-38s. Although it had trouble in the cold air over northern Europe, the Lightning performed excellently in the Mediterranean and South Pacific theaters.

Just bought a Dell Latitude D620.
The little brat started playing elevator Muzak when I turned it on. The sound control buttons seem to be controlled by software, they do not work during initial configuration.
Deadlock: I will not configure anything with that awful sound. (I nearly stated that I live in Djibouti, out of plain desperation to get on.) And I can't turn off the sound until I have configured it.
Solution: Found a headphone with volume control, plugged it in and turned down the volume.
Tip to the considerate PC salesman: Supply the beast with a dummy minijack plugged into the headphone output.

The final-configuration Boeing 2707 mockup was sold to a museum and displayed at the SST Aviation Exhibit Center in Kissimmee, Florida, from 1973 to 1981. In 1983, the building, complete with SST, was purchased by the Faith World church. For years the Osceola New Life Assembly of God held services there with the airplane still standing above. In 1990, the mock-up was sold to aircraft restorer Charles Bell, who moved it, in pieces, to Merritt Island, in order to preserve it while it waited for a new home as the church now wanted the space for expansion. The forward fuselage was on display at the Hiller Aviation Museum of San Carlos, California, for many years, but in early 2013, was moved back to Seattle, where it is undergoing restoration at the Museum of Flight.
The Boeing 2707 was an American supersonic passenger airliner project during the 1960s. After winning a competition for a government-funded contract to build an American supersonic airliner, Boeing began development at its facilities in Seattle, Washington. The design emerged as a large aircraft with seating for 250 to 300 passengers and cruise speeds of approximately Mach 3. It was intended to be much larger and faster than preceding SST designs such as Concorde.
The SST was the topic of considerable concern within and outside the aviation industry. From the start, the airline industry noted that the economics of the design were questionable, concerns that were only partially addressed during development. Outside the field, the entire SST concept was the subject of considerable negative press, centered on the issue of sonic booms and effects on the ozone layer.
A key design feature of the 2707 was its use of a swing wing configuration. During development the required weight and size of this mechanism continued to grow, forcing the team to start over using a conventional delta wing. Rising costs and the lack of a clear market led to its cancellation in 1971 before two prototypes had been completed.

My first configurations box... I created this for my older sister as a birthday gift. She loves the beach, but now lives land-locked so I thought it would be a nice reminder for her. I used a variety of real shells, paper from the DCWV "Tradewinds" stack, acrylic paint, various TH products (mini spinner and crackle paint) and some miscellaneous charms from a dear friend (thanks, Zoe!). The lighting for these photographs is terrible so I don't think they do this project justice. It will sound conceited, but this was way more beautiful in real life. LOL.

Interrupt requests come from devices into the I/O APIC. The I/O APIC directs the interrupt onto the ICC (Interrupt Controller Communication) bus. The Local APIC sends the interrupt to its CPU.
Radio, speed controllers (3), OMX-3 mixer, and wiring all in. It isn't neat, but it works great! Not show in a Polyquest 3.1AH LiPoly that provides the juice. I plan to add a "deck" over the tops of the motor mounts to hold the electronics and make things neater.
Weight as shown, including the battery: 4 lbs 5.7 oz.
Its an absolute riot to drive: quite snappy, and very flexible as exptected from a 3-wheeled omni design. I am still figuring out the "best" radio settings to get the most out of the OMX-3 mixer.
For those of you out there using Shcedulr to upload to flickr, I couldn't figure out where I read about making a portable copy (such as for using with a flash drive), but I did find this option to make a configuration backup. Hopefully it's self explanatory for the most part, but let me know if you have questions. What I don't know is, and this is could be a big deal(!), how to restore your configuration from a backup file. My crazy guess is, you just put it in the folder where you installed Shedulr.exe, but I don't know how that would work exactly. Online searching turned up nothing for this, but I didn't dig really deep either.
Also, I searched the registry, and my entire computer for "Schedulr" to try and find where the application is storing all that queue information, but came up with nothing. Nope, nothing in the "AppData\Roaming" directories either! If anyone can shed any further light on this, any help would be appreciated. It's very frustrating to have Schedulr crash when you have a lot of files queued up for uploading, which has only happened to me once in about 15 months of using Shcedulr. At least now I have a configuration backup, even if I have no real clue how to use it! I figure I'll cross that bridge when/if I come to it, unlsee someone out there knows more than I do about it.

LOL.
Dual-Configuration Reusable Shuttle
McDonnell Douglas / Martin Marietta, 1970-71
Scale 1:80
This concept has two configurations. For typical missions, the reusable orbiter is launched atop a piloted booster. For heavier payloads (such as large space station components) that do not need an astronaut crew, the booster launches a large disposable cargo carrier augmented by six solid rocket boosters.
this configuration was used in Houston, Texas. green on the right end and green and yellow arrows at the middle indications. UP NEXT: it's McCain PV traffic signals, and more McCain PV traffic signals ahead, on Flickr.

The "Cruiser" module of the Bluenose was design specifically to haul cargo crates for the Moonbase.
