Firsflook is the gaming and pop culture event of the Benelux where the latest games, gadgets and hardware shown for the first time to the Dutch and Belgian players and where all aspects of "nerd culture" are offering. Assassin's Creed Origins is a game published by Ubisoft. This image is taken with the in-game photo mode. I use an X-box controller connected to my PC and access the photo mode by pressing F3.
The spire of this church dominates the skyline of East Claremont Street. When I was in the time-sucking vortex of Oblivion, it extended like a middle finger, mocking my obsession, while I walked home.
Oblivion is a game whose environment is seemingly based on the English countryside, but appears to have infinite variety when you first play it. It was the first game I've played which featured widespread grass, which meant (depending on your detail settings) a wave of grass would erupt from the ground, as you moved forward.
It's a slightly claustrophobic game engine, in some ways. It either does outside areas, or interiors, but no transparent windows between the two (enter a house - no matter how small - and you'll be hit with a loading screen). This means that indoor areas have either no windows, or ones which obscure the outside world completely.
The church above would fit well into the architectural zoning regulations of Imperial City.
