When mixed with molassas and orange tea it make a excellent fire ant drench, which wipes out entire mounds of the liitle boogers it cost an lot less than the expensive chemicals you buy
The cherries that are removed from the beans are left to compost, which is used for fertilizer next coffee season.

After a heavy snow, we were not able to get to our home-made compost box in the backyard for awhile. This is what we saw when we looked inside. We found it quite beautiful.
