Navigational components used in an explosive, autonomously navigating boat serve as evidence as part of collection proving Iranian weapons proliferation on display at Joint Base Anacostia-Boling in Washington, D.C. The Optoelectronic Component and Materials Laboratories (or OCM Labs) is a collection of graduate students, post doctoral fellows, visiting scientists and research staff who are engaged in investigating an enormous variety of phenomena and devices related to electronic materials and optics. Some of the work involves the basic physics of new semiconductor and organic materials, some focuses on devices using these materials, and yet other work looks at the system impact of optical devices and structures. The unifying goal of our work is the realization of practical optoelectronic devices.

President: Ukraine is working on developing a military component of security guarantees
Ukraine is working on developing a military component of security guarantees, and the relevant developments will be submitted to partner states upon completion of this work. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the end-of-year press conference in Kyiv.
The Head of State noted that the issue of developing the military component of security guarantees is within the competence of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"A lot depends on us on the platform of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. The military component – we have to convey our vision to our partners, and this is a significant core for security guarantees. We have not yet conveyed it. There are many challenges, a lot of work, but the ball is now in our court in this matter," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The President also reiterated that the format of joining NATO without the temporarily occupied territories is unacceptable for Ukraine, as in case of Russia's repeated aggression, there are also no security guarantees for the part of the country that will gain membership in the Alliance.
"The question here is: will NATO countries join the fight for a part of Ukrainian territory that has a certain status in NATO? After all, we do not recognize the occupied territories as Russian," the Head of State noted.

A connection that most home theaters can’t function without. Also known as (EIA770.3), (Y/Pb/Pr) or simply “Component Video” is the most common and the most universal connection that can be found in every home theater system. Unlike S-Video or regular Composite, this cable is designed to transmit HD, ED and SD signals. Made of High-Purity Oxygen Free Copper (OFC), it has the characteristics of high conductivity, low signal loss and degradation, low electric resistance and good signal transmission. High-Density double shielding will reduce interference to a minimum, while 24k Gold plated connectors will ensure a tight fit. The featured nylon sleeve will protect the insulation from moist and dust and thus will prevent the aging of the cable.

The jet pack uses only 11 components. These are the two main modules. One of the most exciting components of A+ Partners in Education, Battle of the Books gets fifth grade students excited about reading. A lively academic competition, Battle of the Books improves reading comprehension, builds vocabulary, and teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship. The 2015 competition runs concurrently at Howard, Mt. Hebron, Oakland Mills, River Hill and Wilde Lake high schools.
Teams of five students and one adult coach each read the same 16 pre-assigned books over four months. Selected by HCLS instructors and HCPSS media specialists, titles include a wide range of reading levels and subjects. Thanks to generous sponsors, all teams receive a set of books. In addition to reading the books, teams choose a team name then dress accordingly.
During the "battle" (a 50-question exam), a moderator asks questions that relate to one of the following: a direct quote from one of the book characters; a statement about something that happens in the book; a passage taken directly from the book; details about an illustration or picture. Winning teams receive prizes.
