Protege los empalmes de cable de fibra óptica
C3, Cables y Componentes para Comunicaciones, S.L., nueva empresa del Grupo COFITEL, presenta la caja estanca con bandeja multi-aplicaciones UCAO MFT 7 de Corning Cable Systems, que ofrece una magnÃfica protección para empalmes de cables de fibra óptica.
Este modelo de la gama Evolant®, que dota de una excelente sujeción de cable y espacio suficiente para almacenamiento de tubo de búfer, también se puede instalar con cualquier cubierta de cable y es ideal para aplicaciones subterráneas, aéreas y con conductos.
Gracias a su diseño compacto, la caja estanca UCAO MFT 7 se convierte en la solución idónea para conectar un reducido número de cables de distribución. Además, su facilidad de apertura y cierre ayuda a la hora de trabajar con redes de acceso.
El cuerpo de la caja consiste en dos cubiertas realizadas en plástico (IP68) para resistir todas las inclemencias meteorológicas. La intersección de estas dos mitades queda sellada con silicona reutilizable.
La caja también dispone de una bisagra en la parte superior y cinco tensores de acero inoxidable y plástico en la parte inferior. Precisamente, esta parte inferior de la cubierta puede alojar entre dos y siete bandejas de empalme MFT para ofrecer un acceso rápido y fácil. Además, los tubos de búfer se pueden instalar directamente en las bandejas.
Con la ayuda de un adaptador de búfer opcional, las fibras de un tubo se pueden separar y distribuir en diferentes tubos. Alternativamente, las fibras de diferentes tubos se pueden integrar en uno. Cada bandeja MFT posee cuatro entradas de tubos de búfer y tiene capacidad para albergar hasta 24 empalmes.
Para ofrecer el mejor soporte posible, C3 y Corning también ofrecen un kit con todos los elementos necesarios para la instalación de estas cajas estancas, incluyendo el equipamiento de gestión de fibra.

There were 3 apartments with a living room and kitchen inside the factory for visitors. That made it more convenient for both the visitors and the Clayton employees.

Adaptor made from old HydroFlush with 1 1/2 pipe X 2 inch PVC bushing epoxied into place. Pump threads into adaptor.
I removed the bolt holding the fender in place and reused that hole, which saved me from having do drill extra holes in the fender and also placed the light in the most appropriate spot. If I hadn't modified the case, placing the light here would have covered the GB badge.

Joe Miller, a Brasstown, NC blacksmith, was commissioned to design and build the sculpture. The artwork is being funded by a grant from the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area Partnership. Archer Components recommended to do this method so I tried it, but I did not want to try anything before I contacted them, and they suggested this, so of course I now do this.
