So i think this is a cute idea for a competition, but wanted to see what you guys think - please let me know if you'd like to take part! I saw these Cavey-sized bonnets in my local craft shop and thought they would be so cute for an Easter themed competition.

Using a lower repetition range allows for the use of a higher weight and higher maximum weight development. This occurs because usage of a higher weight (80-100% of maximum) uses nearly all of the muscle fibers in the area causing maximum microtrauma which will induce further development of the muscle for strength. Higher reps in the 8-12 range are used for hypertrophy (size building/bodybuilding) and the 12-20 range is typically used more for endurance athletes. It's not necessary to train for size or endurance because neither matter in powerlifting competition.

Saturday 29 April saw the first Greater Manchester Volunteer Police Cadet Competition.
Cadets from units across the Force – along with a group from Derbyshire Constabulary – competed in a series of scenario-based tests and a drill competition.
The Blackley unit won the overall prize with cadets from Trafford wining the drill test.
The event took place at the Force’s Sedgley Park Centre with The Lord Mayor of Manchester, Cllr Carl Austin-Behan and the High Sherriff of Greater Manchester Kui Man Gerry Yeung attending as guests of Honour.
Chief Constable Ian Hopkins presented the main award.

An inter-school nation wise contest was held under the banner of WWF Pakistan on 29th November, 2012, at Frere Hall, Karachi wherein children from the respective schools of Karachi participated and here are few of the photos of the event.
