Commuting by bicycle is easy and fun! Just ask Chad Crager from our Bicycle Program staff.

Commuting with Peter Pan means a ride home that is comfortable for me and my wallet.

It was a warm (for January) and rainy night ... Metro delays plus Safeway stop equals bus.

With me wearing my headlamp and Kiyomi wearing her reflective collar with LEDs flashing, we took a long walk from our house to the park, ran offleash for a while, and walked back.

Here's my morning "commute" to work, door to door, at 23.5x speed.

 

The soundtrack is "Beds Hurt My Booty" by Jonathan Coulton, simply because It happened to be of appropriate length. Beds do not really hurt my fine booty.

I have effectively shaved 15 minutes off my commute on this thing. I can't go back to riding mountain-bike style bikes for commuting.

The commute in Bermuda's a real pain. Remembering to take suntan lotion so you don't get burned on the top deck of the boat......I don't know why they put up with it!

SP GP9 rebuild 3194 is one of, if not the only surviving T&NO GP9, and one of several Bay Area based Geeps that served on the commute. Her paint is starting to look a little tired, and GGRM plans to do full a full cosmetic as time and funds allow.

Streets were slick, and the commute home was terribly slow.

Commuted to work by bike through the winter except in the coldest days in January. Oneway distance is 15 km. Normally rode streets but this sunny morning rode a short leg on the sea ice.
