I spend roughly two hours of every weekday commuting in the saddle of the Gray Lady, a 2003 BMW R1150RT motorcycle. This is a closeup of the right cylinder head.
With a few exceptions, my favorite motorcycle designs use the frame and mechanical bits as part of the design.

The commute this morning was covered by ominous clouds as some storms passed through. Luckily, I managed to stay dry. Minneapolis, MN 2009.
This is taken on the platform at North Sydney station. I particularly liked the effect of the boy's 'boaters' (straw hats) as they walked off the platform. It made me think of a gaggle of geese. I had to take all these shots quickly and move on as the station attendant was most unhappy with me. Thus the camera shake, as this was hand held @ 1 second.

* It must *totally* suck to work there.
While this looks flat, it is actually a 14% grade going up the bluffs. Scenic, but a bit of work to get a loaded bike up the hill!
