The second annual Festival of Communities took place over the weekend of 20th/21st May.
On the second festival day festival goers could explore a palace of delights at Queen Mary University of London, with exciting activities behind every door.
We celebrated our students' achievements at an awards ceremony at the Temple Gate Hotel. Awards were presented in each year group, for Academic Achievement, Exemplary Role Models, and achievement in a range of endeavours at national and international level. Congratulations everyone!

On Sunday, June 12, 2011, Sheldon hosted a community dinner at Joseph H. Gaudet Middle School and Learning Academy to listen to local residents’ concerns and take questions as Rhode Islanders continue struggling in this tough economy.
In the days preceding the Hargeisa Urban Visioning Week, consultative workshops were held in each of the 5 districts of Hargeisa, gathering representative of the communities to discuss common issues, challenges, and hopes. The mayor attended all the district workshops.

Washtenaw Community College and the WCC Foundation hosted a hospitality tent and KidZone activities at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival on Sunday, June 22. Activities included hands-on science experiments, gaming in the Esports Zone, live science demonstrations and more.
