Comment faire une défense
revers, avec Mathieu Combe
Dans cette vidéo, vous allez apprendre à effectuer une défense revers.
La défense est un coupé loin de la table plutôt utilisé par les défenseurs pour
renvoyer les attaques adverses.
Ce coup permet de limiter les possibilités adverses, grâce aux trajectoires
tendues et l'effet coupé mis dans la balle.
Nous verrons la défense en revers en 2 étapes : l'élan puis l'action sur la balle.
Pour prendre un bon élan, adoptez la posture de base du pongiste.
L'objectif est d'armer le coup en se plaçant.
Pour armer, décollez le coude de votre corps et placez-le en avant de vous.
Par rapport à une poussette, armez le coup en partant de plus haut car le
mouvement sera plus ample.
Voici le geste de la poussette, et voici en comparaison le geste de la défense.
Orientez la pointe de votre raquette légèrement vers l'arrière pour garder le
poignet en extension, ce qui vous permettra de fouetter la balle au moment de
l'impact.
Placez-vous en fonction de la balle.
Reculez votre pied gauche si vous êtes droitier, ou le droit si vous êtes gaucher,
pour prendre appui sur cette jambe.
Frottez la balle, plus ou moins derrière et avec un mouvement descendant en
fonction de la balle adverse et de votre intention.
Par exemple, si la balle adverse a beaucoup d'effet lifté, touchez la plutôt
derrière.
Placez une accélération au moment de l'impact en frottant la balle pour
entretenir l'effet adverse.
Vous pouvez également feinter l'adversaire en la poussant et non en la frottant.
La balle sera ainsi molle, c'est-à-dire avec peu d'effet, et trompera votre
adversaire qui s'attendra à une balle coupée.
Après votre coup, pensez à vous replacer.
Entraînez-vous pour vous approprier cette action, et pouvoir l'utiliser en match.

We had a brilliant weekend in Nottingham!
Saturday nigh we were meeting friends.
The Wetherspoons for something to eat where our dear friend Sarah joined us, then we went to meet up with Alice and Gill - 2 wonderful friends who I took out inHull in 2023. We were going to try the Barrel Drop but it was packed so instead we headed to the the New Foresters.
What a brillant night we had! We met 2 lovely wome - Linda and Dawn - who joined us for the evenin, which was full of love and laughter and dancing! Everyone had a brilliant time.

Looking for a red and green image for my colour assignment, I found this 'number six' sculpture in Lime Street London, being part of Robert Indiana's series 'One through Zero'. This ended up as a practice shot and was discarded in favour of one of the same sculpture that I preferred.

Gevonden in de kringloopwinkel, een plexiglas doos, in de doos 42 kleine vierkante doosjes, in ieder doosje een balletje met daarop een nummer of een letter. Geen idee wat dit is, een bingo-spel? De doos gaat moeilijk open en de kleine doosjes zijn nog moeilijker open te krijgen, onhandig voor een spel...

I found this box in the thriftshop. In the box 42 little square boxes, in each little box a ball with a number of a cipher. No idea what this is. a game like bingo? It is rather hard to open the box and opening the small boxes is really hard. If it is a game, how what would the rules be?

I went out with my lovely friend Rebekah and we went into town round a few of the bars and pubs.
The day started for me at Piccolo for an amazing breakfast.
After that I popped down to see my Sister who whowed me the awesome and creepy birthday present they had got for my Niece - a couple of creepy dolls on a see-saw. Brilliant!
The evening, Rebekah and I went to The Star to begin with before heading across to the Freedom Quarter, where we saw some great live acts at Monroe's and finished the night in a new bar, Zinnia. It was a great night!
