Christmas LFF weekend in Leeds, absolutely awesome! Gemma got properly festive with her sexy Santa outfit, and I even made a bit of an effort in a red and black dress.
It was a crazy busy event night so was very difficult to get round and see everyone but that's the way it always is on busy event nights.

Trisha, one of our good friends who we see regularly in Leeds and at other events, decided to do a couple of nights in Hull so Gemma came to stay as well, and we made a weekend of it.
It meant swapping Leeds First Friday for Hull in March but that was no problem - it's good to mix things up a bit, and I'm always happy to have friends visit my home town!
In the Admiral of the Humber Wetherspoons, before heading across to The Star.

Every time I come back to Russia, people ask me "Why? It's cold and grey here. Spain is much better". True: most of days are cloudy, people can be grumpy and rude (lack of sunlight, I guess), Moscow is overpopulated, dirty and extremly expensive.
How could I don't come back?
Because there is beauty in ugliness too. At least when that ugliness has been your home for seven years. Sometimes even without the ugly part.
Greenway is an estate on the River Dart near Galmpton in Devon, England. It was first mentioned in 1493 as "Greynway", the crossing point of the Dart to Dittisham. In the late 16th century a Tudor mansion called Greenway Court was built by the Gilbert family. Greenway was the birthplace of Humphrey Gilbert. The present Georgian house was probably built in the late 18th century by Roope Harris Roope and extended by subsequent owners. The gardens may have been remodelled by landscape gardener Humphry Repton.
Greenway was bought by Agatha Christie and her husband Max Mallowan in 1938. The house was occupied by Christie and Mallowan until their deaths in 1976 and 1978 respectively, and featured, under various guises, in several of Christie's novels. Christie's daughter Rosalind Hicks and her husband Anthony lived in the house from 1968, until Rosalind's death in 2004.
The Greenway Estate was acquired by the National Trust in 1999 and it is now a Grade II* listed building. The house and garden is open to the public, as is the Barn Gallery. The large riverside gardens
contain plants from the southern hemisphere, whilst the Barn Gallery shows work by contemporary local artists.

I swapped monitors with my mom and remade this... hopefully now there aren't any major flaws.
So for those of you who didn't get a chance to read my description yesterday, because I deleted these like 5 minutes after I posted them... I was playing around with Photoshop and came up with these three. I asked several people which one they liked the best (or hated the least), but all 3 pictures ended up with the same number of votes. So feedback is always appreciated.
Got my passport today... We're planning a trip in June to Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Russia. I'm probably going to spend my birthday in Lithuania, though I'm more excited about going to St. Petersburg in Russia.

Hull Pride day was absolutely awesome! My god it was a hot one though!
I was so proud of my city on this day - the love and warmth around on Pride days is amazing! Such a sense of community and togetherness!
