The colours of Istanbul. fantastic shades of the rainbow reflected in the painting of the apartments overlooking the Bosphorus.

We had a wrap around balcony on the apartment which was perfect for a tripod and taking pictures at all times of the day and night!

A two panel mosaic of the nebulous region around the star, Sadr in the constellation Cygnus. Instead of selectively editing the colours to be the mainstream Hubble palette, I let them run wild. Imaged over 11 nights in August of 2022 from Vancouver, Canada. Bortle 8/9 zone.

Fallen leaves in a puddle, with the greens of the live leaves reflecting and the decaying fallen leaves in the water, A typical autumnal scene.

I wouldn't normally think to post random cell phone images. But I have been going through old shots and realising the inherrent interest value as a vernacular project.

 

Each one of these shots tells a story. More so than many of the polished artistic shots I post - the things you are 'supposed' to display on your photography website.
