These bright, beautiful colours were found right beside me on the deck at our golf course as we were waiting for our tee time this afternoon.
This morning I went along to the Holi Festival of Colours on the Commons. I would have loved to have gone inside but my asthma can't take the coloured dust. It sure was a very hot day. March 5, 2016 The Commons, Christchurch New Zealand.

A wonderful sight at the beginning of the day. With frost the last couple of nights I don't think the colours will last much longer.
Many of my Middle Eastern students make a point of using the old school 4 point coloured pens in making notes for their lectures.
My daughter has the same, but one of them is a pencil... She also has the obligatory pen with 16 different colours on them too, I've no idea how she tells the difference as there's quite a strong streak of colour blindness in the family.
