OK so it didn't really look like that - occasionally I just love playing with the curves adjustments on my images and as a general rule I'll pull the curves all over the place to learn a little about what they do.
Well I was doing precisely that right here and.. thought that I'd share an in process shot as a finished result. You guys will vote with your clicks ;-)

Days of Autumn in Canada, when the day times are clear and sunny and the nights cool and crisp, provide an almost irresistible lure to those who enjoy the colourful shades of outdoors. This type of weather is the most favorable for a spectacular show of autumn colors, making this season of the year still more delightful. Autumn forests show up vividly in the maples, oaks, sourwood, sweetgum, dogwood, tupelo, black gum and persimmon. The entire trees blaze forth in vivid hues, along city streets as well as across the open countryside. Here what I captured this time, Enjoy!
The colours of Istanbul. fantastic shades of the rainbow reflected in the painting of the apartments overlooking the Bosphorus.
We had a wrap around balcony on the apartment which was perfect for a tripod and taking pictures at all times of the day and night!
A two panel mosaic of the nebulous region around the star, Sadr in the constellation Cygnus. Instead of selectively editing the colours to be the mainstream Hubble palette, I let them run wild. Imaged over 11 nights in August of 2022 from Vancouver, Canada. Bortle 8/9 zone.

Day 2 was starting with getting my rental car and preparing myself for my first day on Tenerife. As Puerto de la Cruz was placed under a layer of clouds the decission to start with the Teide National Park was easy. Climbing the street up into the mountais you enter the national park and the caldera (Las Canadas del Teide) at the crossing of the roads TF-21 and TF-24. At once you feel like on an other planet.
