Lavender Cotton blooms taken at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens. This species is Santolina Virens. They are quite small, the one in focus measures about 1.5 cm in diameter.
The knees get a good work out because they are less than a foot above the ground.

Just a walk in a park in Rotterdam
The Service-tree (Sorbus torminalis) is also known as the Chequer-tree due to its small tough fruits that can be eaten after touched by frost. This young tree didn't have fruits yet, but autumnal colours and shape of leaves are spectacular. Primrose Hill Community Woodland. Bath, BANES, England, UK.
