Whilst out walking, one night, through Karijini National Park, I spotted two trees sitting on a small hill...I loved the look of them against the colours of the sunset.

working evenings and weekends right now so very little time left for taking photos. This is a fizzy percy pig tail.
Some weeks ago I noticed a group of flamingos in the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna. I don't know what they feed them there, but all of them had an impressive orange colour. This shot was taken from a spot where there were no disturbing fences in front of me. I focused on the eye of the flamingo and tried to keep the bird within the rule of thirds.
What could be more contrasting than this portrait of an orange flamingo in front of some green bushes? The colour contrast is underlined by the shallow depth of field which leaves only the bird in sharp focus and the background blurred.

I particularly liked the colours and textures in the hull of this old boat. Many year of rot have obviously taken it's toll but this has not seen water in many years so the wood has dried out.
