We went out to the Marsh and caught one the last boats in the Harbour and one of the last Deer on the Island. The last boat was the Harbour Master checking parking meter validation for the one and only Salty and the deer was by accident when I was shooting a red bush and she started eating it. Still a little colour left on Nanibijou. Mutton Island and the 3 Sisters .

The colours party of the Kelattie Flotilla colours exchange ceremony march past. The ceremony signified the offical name change from the Naval Reserve Cadets to the Australian Navy Cadets. You can't see it in this picture but there were over fifty cadets marching in this ceremony. It was an awesome sight.

The Kellatie Flotilla is made up of eight cadet units (Training Ships: Emu, Leven, Mersey, York, Tamar, Arganout, Derwent and the band unit, Hobart) from around Tasmania.

It was such a buzz photographing the ceremony.

Back from Berlin. Unfortunately I haven't been to the Dawanda market because we hadn't enough time to stand in line for one hour. But I brought some coulourful souvenirs back home though.

I'm stitching the rosettes into bands of colour which I hope to attach to one another. This is what I've sewn up so far. Of course what will scupper this plan is running out of fabric in different colours. If I'd gone random at least I'd be able to make a quilt - all be it a very small one!
