Another amazing sunset in Shropshire on the Wednesday Evening. Ran out in the backgarden just in time to capture the display.
Today we captured the amazing colours and reflections of autumn. Please come and have a look at our set
come sankranti and the kite flying craze in the city scales new heights. this one's at a kite stall in the street next to my house. Manjas as they are known, put up in various colours and of various types.... all so typical of the wonderful festival season.
Autumnal colours - Garden. Had to get a shot of this before they got blown away. One taken in cloudy conditions the other in bright sunshine. Just shows what a difference the light makes!

The mehndi / henna night of a south asian wedding is probably my favourite. The vivid colours really bring out the essence of the celebration..

Colours of autumn, white from the moss, dark red from heather, green from lingon (yes they are there if you look close and carfully) :)
and yellow from some small birches.
