The colder the weather is, the more animals have to eat, to keep their body heat going for survival. So even on cold gloomy, foggy days, it is worth going out, there will be wildlife activity going on. I'm not sure what this squirrel is eating, but there are pecan, black walnut and many acorn producing trees in the area.

Members of the Fifer family hosted UD students who toured the popular Delaware orchard in Wyoming, DE. I think this horse type is from Iceland. They have a thick fur and do not seem to mind the cold weather.
