Squirrels on a beautiful early Autumn day in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan. Taken on Monday October 15th, 2018. Brought in a Carrigan Cafe mug to get some pictures (celebrating my photo exhibit there in Saline).

Day 023/365

For your love.

I would do anything. Just to see a smile upon your face.

My Torch lights helped again in lighting up my subject like i wanted.. I used one as a back light..

Treats from Heathrow

Having a break, while enjoying the upgrade onboard the Shamrock Heathrow to Dublin.

Flights EI178/179 are currently upgraded from the usual A320 to A330 aircraft sometimes, so a nice treat to sample the giant 330 without having to cross the pond to the United States where the 330's usually operate to.

Its a sight to behold at Heathrow prior to departure all the various trucks arriving with the BA world cargo ULD's, stuffed into the belly of the 330, while the passenger deck may be a tad under utilised, the cargo hold is not.

Thanks to the nice crew down back that evening, 17th November 2021, you know who you are.

My coffee cup is not impacted by the Apache Log4j vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228).

Why should I log my coffee consumption?

I took this photograph about fifteen minutes after sunset at the Pike Place Market and before it started to downpour. I believe it embodies Seattle: a city built on trade and coffee beans.

They say that in Paris you're never more than ten minutes from a metro stop, well in Seattle your never more than ten feet from the nearest espresso bar. Empires such as Microsoft and Starbucks were built here, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana hailed from here and Bruce Lee is buried here. Enjoy the photograph as you journey into the Emerald City.

So what's your favorite type of coffee?

Happy Travels!

So I think I'm getting better at this. Might try a few more during the 365. I'm not sure if the redwood was such a good background.

... but just a little sprinkling of "frost" on this lovely delicious frangipani which went down a treat with my mug of warm latte!

I was surprised when I woke up this morning to find that we hadn't any frost because it's freezing out there!!

april in november is up on the blog! there are even more photos from yesterday's shoot on my facebook page :)

i REAAALLLY love this one :)

I listened to Chase Jarvis' "Can You Work from Anywhere?" podcast this morning on my dog walk- I wasn't sure how to test it out but the way my day worked out - I did find myself working with a little different setup. I really enjoyed having the mainfloor to myself for lots of pacing while talking on my headset. I did move my laptop to my standup desk in the living room for a while as well. Man, this jigsaw puzzle I bought my daughter for her birthday is going take a while.

Woefully behind on uploads to Flickr lately, so catching up over the next few days with a series of posts. First up are my favourite images from an impromptu shoot with the sublime Sinopa Rin on the South Coast. Had a great location with a balcony overlooking a cricket stadium, would have been a shame to waste the opportunity!

is that a Narwhal in your cup or are ya happy to see me 😂

You name it in ceramics and you will find it at the Tonala Market. How about a an extra coffee mug? They look to be mass produced.

I've done several Sunday-morning-coffee-mugs-on-the-beach house-railing photos, but this year was different --- new mugs (thanks, Karol!) & a new view thanks to the placement of a berm in front of the beach house to protect it from El Nino.

It's all about the caffeine

Sock's Christmas gift from Scott's family was in some desperate need of mending; having put the task off for a few days and finding myself a little bored this afternoon, I grabbed the Octo-tunes from where it was perched (out of reach) and set to mending.

Sock was quite worried about his little buddy the whole time and resisted leaving his side while the surgery was in session... not very sterile but it brought comfort to the pupper... I think.

Actually, I'm not so sure about that. Sock was so anxious about the whole thing that he gave himself the hiccups.

But I'm happy to say the surgery was a success and octotunes in now on the floor after being dragged around the house by one happy doggo.

Hope everyone has had a good Sunday.

Did these a week ago and finally got around to them. I did a few of these just for the color against a black background. Speedlites from both sides. I like the mix of colors you sometimes get with milk.

This has been one of the most different Christmases on record for me. It's been a mixed bag of good, not good, and everything in between the two. For me, I chose to remember the good memories, and hold onto the hope for next year being different but in a better way.

Cheers and blessings to everyone this holiday season, hoping whatever you celebrate that you find some beauty and hope for the coming year.
