Photo Styling Project: Coffee
The objective of this exercise was to photo-style a separate product in our own time.
Dunkin coffee, mugs, and beans were either propped in place over the camera or intentionally moved in frame to give sense of motion.
Each object was photographed one at a time above the image at varying heights to give a sense of depth and to maintain lighting/perspective.
These 8 images were taken using a cellphone in selfie-mode facing upward with ceiling as backdrop.
The composite image was finalized in photoshop, adding additional contrast, texture, grain, and other touch ups to go for a more retro magazine look.
This was an exercise with no affiliation to Dunkin or its subsidiaries.
I'm treating Squiggy like it's her birthday because she has brought me more good fortune. Two years ago when she first started coming around, I took a picture of her (below) that won second-place in a wildlife contest in Canadian Geographic magazine. I just found out that Canadian Geographic will be including the same picture in a special interest edition that's coming out in November. So Happy Birthday to my special nut and thanks for all the entertainment and photo opps!

Here are a couple of older paintings I cropped and enhanced to be offered as print on demand items on Art Pal. It is possible to order a high quality framed or framable print there and even a coffee mug with your favorite writer or murderess (acquitted) on it.
