I love cups of coffee (or tea) that carry a deep message that gives you to think at a level that can mean a definitive change in your life.
"GAS" (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) must be a fake idea for sure! Picture taken at a beautiful and Spring sunny morning in Pozuelo de Alarcon, Madrid, Spain, Europe.
¿Y AHORA?
No book is really worth reading at the age of ten which is not equally – and often far more – worth reading at the age of fifty and beyond. ~ C.S. Lewis

HAPPY CATURDAY THEME- CATS IN THE KITCHEN
Well, eight legs if you have two of the best therapists one could ever hope to have.
There are several tell-tale signs these two cuties want their breakfast. One is peeking inside the refrigerator, and the other is on the kitchen counter. My morning coffee always comes with a side order of two cats waiting on their breakfast. The least I can do is serve them their breakfast when I'm having my cup of coffee. After all, their Therapy Cat Service is essential these days, and we appreciate it very much. Life is a bit sweeter with Maggie and Bat.
♥️🐾🐾🐾🐾♥️
There is a funny tendency of kitchen items arranging themselves in aesthetically interesting patterns. Especially if the kitchen is used by a sizeable number of persons.

It is Monday after all ...
No MM group for me anymore, so this is my macro/close up shot for this morning. One of my many cat mugs with coffee shots, here is one that my neighbor across the street gave me recently. She's closing up her mother's house.
Thank you for your visit and I hope a comment. May God bless ya'll through the coming week.
Well, today I would rather be a Cool Dude than a "wet" dude .. it's been raining all day and I'm most certainly not going out for a walk in this weather!!
So, lazy afternoon and maybe watch a movie .. okay carrot cake and a warm coffee also sounds great!!

UNA TAZA DE CAFE MUY ESPECIAL, 2022

This is the latest gift from my family, just a week after my appendectomy.
The Chinese brand 7Artisans has just released a new "characterful" lens with a 75mm focal length and a maximum aperture of F1.4, for E/Z/L/R mounts.
It is designed primarily for portraits and still lifes, and is surprisingly affordable.
It doesn't have electronic connection pins, so the camera's autofocus system can't be used, but it does have the new feature offered by electronic viewfinders on new cameras with the focus-assist system called "focus peaking."
The camera doesn't receive aperture information, so you have to rely on the exposure simulated by the electronic viewfinder.
The photo was taken at night, using a small spotlight, an exposure time of 1/100 sec, a manual aperture of F5.6, and an ISO of 1250, without a tripod, but handheld.
I could have opened the aperture wider, losing some sharpness, but my abdominal muscles are still recovering and aren't up to too many unstable balances yet.
Besides, with this type of lens, you're not looking for absolute sharpness, but rather a certain "charm" and beautiful blur (Bokeh).
If I wanted much more perfect sharpness, I would have used another lens.
The Doc Martens boots are less than 1" long, but very detailed. I've got black and pink ones now. There are other colours. Hmmm...
Well, I managed to get out for a full round of golf this morning with my good old golf buddy!! It was a little windy and quite cold but we managed a full round!!
It was nice arriving home as my wife had just poured me a a nice warm mug of coffee and offered me one half of this delicious fruity slice!! She didn't eat the other half and said I could have it with my afternoon coffee 😉
