Bars were allowed to re-open yesterday in San Francisco, but only at 25% capacity. I suspect permission to re-open might have been announced a bit late for this place.

This guy didn't speak much German and hadn't been selling well.
I bought a Pina Colada--- "on ice not crushed please".
He gave me a super smile---made the best cocktail ever--- and continued to talk to me in English until lots more people came along to sample the drinks!
I had the shot: He had the customers--- fair exchange I reckon!

Up to London today and my friends laughed when I said I needed a vibrant pic, as it was dull and overcast all day, and freezing cold. But this little overflow area of a cocktail bar gave me just what I was a needing :)))

One of the former control rooms in the refurbished Battersea Power Station is now serving champagne cocktails instead of electrons
Silver Plume, founded 1869. Population in 2020 was 215, compared to 908 in 1890. By some reports, the population peaked over 2000 back in the 1890s, and today it is nearly a ghost town. The Bread Bar is a cocktail bar in an 1885 building, once a bakery. It is currently open Fri, Sat, Sun.
Restaurant and cocktail bar Grand Cru at night, quick, handheld shot on walk home from my book group, surprised it came out. Situated on the lower part of Hanover Street in the Georgian-era New Town, you can see from the pavement in front that it slopes down quite steeply (lot of walking up and down hills in Edinburgh!)
A great experience, this introduction to mixology. I enjoyed myself in a majestic setting au Hilton Paris-Opéra.

Ein Hase mit außergewöhnlichem, schwarzem Fell soll auf dem Gelände in Ehrenfeld wohnen. Da, wo früher die „Stapelbar“ war, ist jetzt „Der schwarze Hase“ beheimatet – kein Tier, sondern eine neue Location für Cocktails und Musik.
A rabbit with unusual black fur is said to live on the premises in Ehrenfeld. Where the “Stacking Bar” used to be is now home to “The Black Rabbit” – not an animal, but a new location for cocktails and music.
To the Aqua Shard restaurant in London, on the 31st floor of The Shard, with a super-fast elevator to get us there.
Good food, good company, and spectacular views – all that’s required, really.
We went to the South First Fridays ArtWalk, a nighttime tour through galleries, museums, and independent creative businesses in San Jose, California. One street was closed for cars and converted into a street fair. Nearby bars have a nice vibe too.
I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
