Lawton Dry Cleaners in Brattleboro, Vermont closed in 2013 when the 85-year-old owner, who started working at the shop in 1955 and bought it in 1978, decided it was time to do something else.

 

The graffiti on the walls and chimney in this 2022 photo have since been removed.

Bev thinks it looks better without the tree - I'm not sure! I think the trunk broke up the drab patch to the right. There was more water today which gave it a slightly different look but cut down my options for composition - I need waders!

Lighting: Overhead gridded BD, 28" apollo softbox underneath.... triggered by PW mini/flex/ac3combo.

The Japanese take great care and pride in their railways, and it shows. From their shinkansen's, to commuter trains, to even their freight trains, they keep them clean and well maintained. Case in point, a Fujisawa bound Rapid-Express passes a Shinjuku bound Romancecar near Machida.
