Saw the roof cleaner working this morning , thought we should working hard 早上看到這個屋頂清潔已經開始一天的工作，看來我們真該努力工作啊
Berliner Bogen, Hamburg
"In Hammerbrook wurde ein ausgezeichnetes Stück Hamburger Architektur geschaffen und der Berliner Bogen macht seinem Namen alle Ehre: Nicht nur aufgrund seiner geschwungenen Form sticht das Gebäude heraus. Als skulpturales Objekt verkörpert der Berliner Bogen das Aneinandergrenzen von Wasser und Stadt. Auf einer Länge von rund 140 Metern überspannt das Gebäude das Ende des kilometerlangen Hochwasserbassins. An den beiden Uferseiten wölben sich die Stahlbögen bis zu einer Höhe von 36 Metern parabelförmig über den Kanal. Nach gut dreijähriger Bauzeit wurde der Bürokomplex Ende des Jahres 2001 eröffnet. Verantwortlich für den Berliner Bogen sind die Hamburger BRT Architekten Bothe, Richter und Teherani." www.hamburg.de

I’ve always liked this sign in the Midtown area of San Jose. I pass it often on the way to a favorite taqueria. Well, I used to pass it often. The sign was recently taken down, prompting local preservationists to renew the discussion of how to save signs like this from disappearing from public view.
“Meet The Cleaner”…
I open our "Breakfast Club For Birds" at 8am with nice soft peanut butter (smooth) and top it up at noon with seeds, nuts and crushed fat balls .
High Tea is at 3pm in the winter.. with sunflower hearts and crunchy peanut butter, to help them through the cold nights.
This is our "Cleaner" arriving at 3:30 to mop up the left-overs. the last rays of the days sunshine just twinkling in his eye.
All this happens in my back garden in Felling… My Wife. Cheryl calls it “The Connor Hilton”. I think it’s better than that.
After 70 years of chasing them through fields and woodland I now do it the easy way, make them come to me and hang out of the bathroom window.
