Four of these guys were slowly pulling themselves down, one window after the next. One of them was actually singing, dancing, and playing around dangerously on his bench. a pretty funny scene.

Around the first of every month the street cleaners come by and pick up the trash in the streets... It's a great service and it does my heart good to see my taxes at work for some good in the neighborhood... Happy Truck Thursday, Everybody !!!!!!!

hello friends. haven't posted anything for a long time. why? I got covid but have fully recovered!

from the first sign of an itch right in the middle of my throat, getting tested, full-on symptoms, plus a week or so of recovery- 21 days total. I thought it was a cold, but instead of getting better in 4 days, it got incrementally worse.

luckily and fortunately, my symptoms remained mild. no fever, no cough, no trouble of breathing. I did have crazy fatigue, body aches, 0 appetite, and diarrhea. I had major brain fog, couldn’t concentrate, just didn’t have the energy to think. you know that blah feeling of a having a flu, but worse. felt like a fever but no fever with a normal 97-degree. I didn’t leave my house for 21 days, watched a ton of tv, drank water like mad, and downed a lot of tylenols.

on the 3rd week, the symptoms incrementally faded oh so slowly. I would get stomach ache but no diarrhea. reduced body pain but lightheaded. then, no pain, no diarrhea, but out of breath fatigue from walking to the bathroom. finally on the 20th day, I felt almost normal with an appetite.

my wife’s symptom was almost none except she lost her smell and taste. when she cooked, I had to taste it for her, and smell for bad milk and spoiled leftover food for her her. fruits tasted like water, and she couldn’t smell and taste coffee. my mom had fatigue for a few days and that was it. my dad is still recovering because we had to send him to the emergency, but for back pain, we didn’t know it was covid at the time but he later tested positive for covid. the back pain was from a mild pneumonia. they released him after 10 days of steroid, monoclonal antibody, blood plasma therapy, he is recovering at home. the covid messed up his already bad knee, so he needs physical therapy. he’s a tough old dude, trained and chewed dirt with usmc, I think he will be fine. oh, he never developed a fever.

in these 3 weeks I watched a ton of tv. funny thing about covid is it also affects emotion and mood. for example, and I'm manned-up to say this- I cried and cried watching everything related to kobe’s 1-year memorial, while my wife laughed at me. I cried watching- out of all the action movies- battleship! backdraft and star wars: rogue one were pretty bad as well. I cried seeing 45 leaving and I fucking hate 45... it was a trippy experience.

how did I get it? probably, most definitely, pretty sure was our family gathering over christmas. I probably got it first, or one of my relatives, perhaps my dad- whatever, it doesn’t matter. what does matter is we still need to wear a mask, social distancing, and stay at home as much as we can— even if you now have somewhat of an immunity.

This is an old sign as can be seen from the canopy. "Cleaner" blinks properly on both sides but "Metro" does not light on either side.

Moving across the Vembanad lake (allepey, kerala) in his own small boat / jetty, he and many others are responsible for maintenance of the lake. They regularly take rides around the lake to cut / clean the small plant weeds growing on the surface of lake.

Someone's gotta mop that mess!

Cleaner fish are fish that provide a service to other fish species by removing dead skin and ectoparasites.[1] This cleaning symbiosis is an example of mutualism, an ecological interaction that benefits both parties involved. However, the cleaner fish may sometimes cheat and consume mucus or tissue, thus creating a form of parasitism.[2] A wide variety of fishes including wrasse, cichlids, catfish, and gobies display cleaning behaviors. Similar behavior is found in other groups of animals, such as cleaner shrimps.

Cleaner fish advertise their services with conspicuous coloration, often displaying a brilliant blue stripe that spans the length of the body. This adaptation has evolved independently in different species of cleaner fish, making it an example of convergent evolution.[3] Other species of fish, called mimics, imitate the behavior and phenotype of cleaner fish to gain access to client fish tissue. This is another example of convergent evolution.[4]
