I bought my Prius about 5 years ago and I LOVE getting between 40 and 55
MPG. The technology is here now and it will only get better.
PLEASE, the time is now to transform our fleet of cars to efficient, clean
cars.

We have already saved substantial sums by what we drive (our main car is a
hybrid and attached is a photo of my commuter car, all electric!) and
let's hope our US car manufacturers get it before the rest of the world
passes us by.

My father's first new car - a '48 Chevrolet Black 2 door sedan, the cheapest car available that year. I've been excited by cars all my life, but today I'm reluctant to by a new car, because all the electric cars were removed from the market, except the super expensive ones. I'm ready to by a plug in family car. Let's make it happen!

Drove my hybrid to the levee but the levee was breached, so we took the last train for the coast.
There is no time to dither. We need affordable, effective clean cars NOW.
With China and India now owning record numbers of cars, we must create clean
cars for the sake of the planet.

Dear President Obama and the EPA,
California took the lead in passing legislation to limit the amount of CO2
emissions in our state. The Bush Administration blocked the bill from
becoming law. Now you're considering overturning it. We know this
administration is visionary and headed in the right direction. Allowing
limits on CO2 emissions is to drive a ways down that most desirable road.
Please do the right thing.

I have never seen such dirty air as here in urban Florida with its heavy car traffic. Time we tighten up standards.
My name is Tom S. from Indianapolis, Indiana and I support efforts by the EPA to allow states to implement clean car standards that would reduce greenhouse emissions. I believe this will help reduce air pollution and global warming but also ultimately help the auto makers as they are discovering that with gas prices likely to go back up people want cars that get better mileage and don't pollute.
