Third class of the bunch; first big shooting day. 'Twas an interesting experience collaborating through the whole process. Like I've said to others, I'm used to doing everything from start to finish, by myself with nobody else involved, so I'm in opposite land with this class. It's much more fun than self portraits.
Over all I'm actually pretty happy with this shot!

The info panel on 47500. Interestingly, the panel says class 47/4, not 47/5 as I would have expected from the loco number. I guess they must have built over 100 47/4s.

On 7 June 2007, a coal train derailed at Biesiesfontein farm Moorreesburg after floods caused the rail track to give way. This diesel locomotive was one of the four diesel locomotives that derailed. It is parked at Bellville Diesel Depot awaiting repairs or to be scrapped.
Mythica, Dragon Girl, does not go to Monster High with all the other Monster kids. She goes to a private school for dragon girls and boys.
Being part dragon, there are special things Mythica has to learn about her abilities, skills, and powers that Monster High doesn’t teach. Nonetheless, she, Cleo, and Frankie are pals.
The students at her school just had their annual class pictures taken…and this is Mythica’s. In case you are unaware, being part dragon, since their skin looks like it has sheer top on it, clothes at Mythica’s school are optional.

When we were all in virtual school, this was a screen/pop-up we were all very familiar with, it was how every class started. I wanted to capture something that related to both the SUMMIT and my question. A big part of the summit was education and one of the biggest impacts on our day to day life during COVID was zoom classes. This was the perfect intersection point and I think this photo conveys the solitary feeling when doing virtual.
