I really like this car, it looks like the Lola T70 and it might be difficult to tell them appart for an untrained eye. the rear spoilers and the side air intakes are the main features to differenciate them.
Sadly this car dod not race when I came, I don't know why. But I still took the time to have a walk around it !
This car has a BMW 2l 4 cylinder with about 220hp.

Original Milwaukee Road switch stand still present on the Mayville spur. The Chevrons on the original WSOR paint scheme were a small tribute to the Milwaukee Road switch stand Chevrons found all across the Ex MILW trackage. 3869 seen here shoving empties up to Mayville Limestone.
One of the glory names of Surfers .. I remember the first Chevron Hotel as a place where fashion parades were held in and around the palm treed garden and huge two tierd circular swimming pool , that was back in the 60's ... my how things have moved on from those days .

I always enjoy spending time in this foyer, which rises the full five floors of the building. Overhead are a multiplicity of lines, reflections, lights, patterns that delight the eye...

Early morning fog got me out to look around for shots, this station is in a residential neighborhood, just remodeled into a Chevron, and a stark contrast to its surroundings.
I took this photograph during the Saturday practice and qualifying sessions of the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2018. It's John Burton in his 1974 Chevron B26 at Lodge Corner during the qualifying session for the HSCC Pre,80 Endurance Challenge race. The B26 was a replacement for the B23, and as well as revised suspension and a rear wing it had an aluminium monocoque tub instead of the spaceframe chassis of all the earlier Chevron sports racing cars. It had a 4-cylinder inline 1,998 Ford engine with an aluminium block, which had been designed by Brian Hart and re-engineered by Cosworth. Only 9 of these cars were made, mainly due to lack of demand because of the 1973 oil crisis in the UK.
"Chevron", large scale sculpture installation
Lake Shore, Chicago
The sculpture was formally installed on a patch of Lincoln Park near the lake as part of Chicago Sculpture Exhibit's 2015 project.
The sculpture, by John Henry, previously resided behind a brick wall in a yard at the corner of Armitage and Burling Street in Lincoln Park.

Taken with a 10-stop ND filter. The camera was pointed straight up and the clouds were moving very fast, so it was possible to get the streaks withba relatively short exposure time.
Crease Patterns for my Chevron Corrugation family (some variants were also independently designed by others). CPs for several variants are included as well as generic methods of creating new variants. These instructions also describe my scheme for naming different variants using supermolecules — tiles consisting of repeating combinations of molecules pointing up (U) and down (D).
Here you can see high-res pictures of some Chevron Corrugation variants:
