Not sure why but this little guy and the Black Oystercatcher were the two birds I wanted to see the most.

Size: Less than 3x3 inches
The subjects are dried Chestnuts use for cooking. I used a red plastic container cover to produce the red colour. I tied it over the table lamp which is positioned at 12 o'clock . There is another small LED torch positioned at 8 o'clock.

This Andean antpitta occurs from Venezuela to northern Peru where it occupies cloud forests from the subtropical to temperate zones. One advantage of going north to Tennessee is finding the Redbuds still in bloom so I brought home the perch from my prior post and endeavored to put it to use in the Georgia Mountains.
My goal was this species and B1ackburn1an on the perch.
Thankfully it worked out and the early morning light was glorious!
