Executive chef David Lee of Nota Bene served their popular brisket sliders but also told us the restaurant will be launching a new lobster taco and margarita summer special that will be available throughout July and August.

Mutton and vegetables are bagged up and lowered skillfully into a fumarole at Furnas on the island of San Miguel in the Azores. The meal is called Cozida and the geothermal, volcanic heat slowly cooks the meal. Sulphurous stew for lunch in two hours.
Chef was labouring under difficulties - his demo blender had broken down so he had to use a substitute!
The majority of photos in this set were taken for, or in supplement to, a personal project on New York City, New York. The project intended to deconstruct the initial chaos one might feel when entering New York for the first time, and break it down in to smaller, more focussed images.
This "Happy Chef" can be seen at the entrance to Front Street Pizza in Brooklyn and greets customers as they head in to what has to be a top-ten pizza place in New York.
