Shot with the single-coated 40mm Cosina Voigtlander Nokton 1.4 lens and a Cosina Voigtlander Bessa R3M. Meter is broken so all shots were taken using Sunny 16. By the way, don't take a Cosina Bessa or any of its kin out in the rain, the meter will stop working.

Dresses for $ 19.99 ! Skirts and tops for $ 9.99! Such bargains on sexy styles. I might be here for a while. Like can you blame me??
After I read that there is a Fuji instant film that works with Kodak instant cameras I had to try it.
Kodak instant cams are dirt cheap,
I got the flagship model EK8 for 2€ (2$) at ebay.
FI-800GT film is only available in Japan. I got mine here.
I had a flipflash/topflash in one of my boxes and was glad I could use it for something.
Could it get much prettier or worse??? It does!!!! This "Cheap-Impacting" of stores has finished. No more Impact! Stick with Black Decor now! Could you notice the Food Center labelscar???

this is a typical makeshift street food stall near a school in metro manila. popular among students because of its cheap fast food. this particular stall sells fried chicken bits skewered on sticks. each chicken stick cost around 10 us cents. due to rise of sickness, involving lack of hygiene and sanitary practice among these transient businesses, the government continuously monitors and tries to regulate these forms of establishments
I picked up a roll each of Flic Film Ultra Pan 200 & 400 to try out. Flic Film has some of the cheaper B&W's films I can find, and if they're decent, they're available in 100' rolls for bulk loading. Flic Film is based in Alberta, my neighbouring province, so it's like supporting local. This could well be re-spooled Fomapan or Kentmere though. Flic film does make, or at least packs and sells, a variety of film and chemistry. I've been using their Black/White & Green developer for B&W and it's very easy to use, being a syrupy consistency to be diluted at a 1:49 ratio. It also has long shel-life and gives finer grain than Rodinal. Rodinal is still my favourite, because developing times are short at 1:25. It's nice to have options though, and if this film is like Foma, Arista or Kentmere, I'll probably get the 100' rolls.

Cards on the Super Cheap
This probably occurred to others... but the standard business card is 2" by 3.5". And the 3.5" direction is about 1/2 inch more than I like in order to have it easily fit in my wallet.
Coincidentally a 4x6 print is exactly large enough to hold four 2x3" cards. 2x3 is the aspect ratio of my camera... Do you see an alignment of planets taking place here?
And finally, at Costco a number of purchases - in particular Compact Flash cards - come with a coupon for "50 Free Prints".
Sure there are alternatives. "Moo cards" come in regular and mini sizes which are compact, but too expensive for what they are IMHO (100 cards for $20!?!, that's 5 cents each). My solution nets 200 cards for $0 + the cost of a trip to Costco and some time creating the setup and then cutting cards using a rotary paper trimmer. Don't have a 50 free coupon? Well, the prints often go on sale for 9 cents per each 4x6... that's still less then 3 cents per card. Regular rate is 13 cents - less than 4 cents per card. Before you use up all 50 of your prints you can pay a few cents for some experiments to see if you'll like 'em.
So I layout several of my shots with some nice typography and simple borders and Voila! 200 free business cards. I used Photoshop and set up layers with different text, a layer with an inner ferrule (white line), and a layer with an outer and an inner black border. Using the hide/show feature of layers I experiment with each shot, saving off a 900x600 pixel tiff or JPG of each card I like. I take four images and drop them on an 1800 x 1200 canvas.
NOTE: Matte finish works better than glossy for this purpose, and do expect some "random" cropping of the edges - that's why I've added borders around all the cards to account for variations in where the prints are cropped. They WON'T be printed on the backs. If you want back printing you can either print stickers, or glue two cards back to back before cutting them.
I put a variety of different text on the cards - mostly just my website. The motivated will find my email address there. I suppose if I were more serious about it, I could add my phone number and address. Indeed, I have a few cards with that information on them.
When I run into photographers I like ;-) or when I happen to get inquiries while shooting (and that happens all the time) - I hand 'em one of these fine looking, ultra low cost cards. I usually let them pick the one they want, too.
See below for some more examples of sheets and individual cards. By the way, the card images look great on my iPhone.

So I’m plainly having a bit of a thing for snug pencil skirts at the moment - especially those with a peplum hem. This one, from M&S, allows for a little wiggle room and it was an absolute steal on Vinted😁
The selection of clothing mainly depends on your preference and the style of Goth you wish to take up.
Part two of Helens travels and here I am standing in front of a piece of Iraqi armour captured during the gulf war this was infact used as an ambulance so a peaceful piece of military hardware.
It did make us laugh when reading the description of both this vehicle and a T62 tank to find out that both were Chinese copies! don't think I would have felt to confident using them.
This is the first time Helen has done a military museum and all was going well looking at the medieval stuff and the English civil was weapons and early 18th cent stuff.
Then we entered a gallery full of guns some of which I have used and I felt very uneasy and sadden by seeing them for I viewed them as I haven't in the past these were made to kill in vast numbers.
Taking a life is bad enough but it doesn't stop at that one person what is left behind is even more pain! mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, sons and daughters all feel and suffer from a life taken.
I know that at times man has to defend what he thinks is right and fortunately many have done so and I give thanks for that selfish act for with their sacrifice I wouldn't be able to have had the life I have.
Its strange how by walking in a females shoes our view of life changes or is that just me?

Film: Expired 35mm Kodak Film from the 90's/early 2000's.
Such great timing for this project - In October 2022 The Eastman Kodak Co. announced on Twitter that it has hired more than 300 people over the past 18 months to handle the rising demand for 35mm film, and that it's aiming to hire even more workers.

I am selling 4x6 prints for super cheap. $3 for one, $5 for two, or $7 for three, $9 for four, etc! If you're interested in buying some, message me. <3
It would mean a lot because I am quite broke and need to get my laptop fixed so I can edit photos more easily and I am saving up for an awesome new lens. <3
P.S. If that's even too expensive, we can work something out. Just message or comment me. <3
This location was considered a National Treasure before it was hopelessly abandoned and has now fallen into a true state of disrepair. In 2000, its doors shut forever and although in 2008 the Chamber of Commerce was able to make some roof repairs it has not been touched since. When I visited in 2013 there was no graffiti and very limited damage and the absolute beauty of the location blew me the hell away. Now abhorrent graffiti ruined the curtain of the stage and many of the other areas have been destroyed. It used to host weddings, banquets, shows, plays, etc. and now hosts nothing but decay. © 2013-Current.
Cheap Monday fashion show for the Stockholm's fashion week SS11
This shot has been done by me for a collaboration with a famous fashion blog. This collaboration is born from the idea of mixing fashion and art photography, hence the serie doesnt show just a model with clothes, but also tells a story; the point of view has been chosen to emphasize the brand's roots with stadhuset (symbol of stockholm) in the background.
I would be happy to get your feedbacks!!
