Voor een klein bedrag kan je de toren van het stadhuis beklimmen (een lift was er niet) en dan heb je rondom een prachtig uitzicht over Lviv, waaronder op de Maria Hemelvaartkathedraal.
Lviv / Львів, Oekraïne
For a small fee you can climb the tower of the town hall (there is no elevator) and then you have a great view of Lviv all around, including the Maria Ascension Cathedral.

The gauge is set at 27.5 cents a gallon. It can't be set any higher than 99.9 cents a gallon because who would have dreamed then that in the future gas prices would......... (Long abandoned store in north Mississippi.)
Building a new one. All low cost parts. Doesn't work as I think I need to remove overspray from the neck pocket but it certainly looks nice.

One of the quirky things about Australia is that the Petrol Stations sell their fuel cheaper on one day of each week.
In North Perth it is Tuesday and so you get a surge of people filling up on that day.

A Northbound D&H freight descends Richmondville Hill at Warnerville, NY on 7/14/1979 with "turquoise" leader 7316. The paint on the 7316 faded really fast for some reason. I don't recall any of the other units that were painted in the blue paint scheme fading this badly in such a short amount of time. My blue 1978 Chevy pickup sits to the left.
Sugar sifters are small ladle shaped spoons which could be used at the table to take the powdered sugar from sugar bowls or sugar baskets and sprinkle it over fruit, puddings or cakes. During the Nineteenth Century refined sugar became cheaper and thus readily available to a larger section of the population. Sugar sifter spoons developed in the mid Eighteenth Century and are similar in form and size to sauce ladles, but with flattened bowl bases. The bowls were decorated with elaborate pierced patterns.
This week the Flickr Friday theme is "spoon" and I thought this was an unusual type of spoon that might be of interest, as it represents a more genteel time in our history.
This sifting ladle was made in 1853 by the silversmiths firm Yapp and Woodward in Birmingham. (Private collection).
John Yapp and John Woodward registered their business in 1845. At one stage they were partners with Joseph Willmore. They were renowned for making Visiting Card Cases. It is not usually possible to identify the artist or designer responsible for a particular design on a piece of cutlery, which makes this sifting ladle a delightful exception to the rule.

I am not sure what they are doing to the benches at Matheson Hammock Park, but some of them were gone completely. It'll soon be B.Y.O.
