I haven't uploaded any pictures for a few days because life did one of those unexpected things it does sometimes. My friend Tracy died. She was 44 and had been battling breast cancer. I was convinced she'd win the fight and am still shocked that she's gone.
Today's pictures are dedicated to her.
This image seemed quite fitting - nature reminding us that things change.

I've always been used to the classic B&O CPL bracket signal standing tall in the woods behind this abandoned, crumbling Erie Railroad water tower. It'll take a while to get used to seeing a modern-day Safetran style signal cantilever in the background. This new signal protects westbounds entering the interlocking at Lambert in Barberton, Ohio.

embracing the madness....there's a change for me! I took this after a blow out with my son (age 10), I mean I let him have it. Let it rip. After the initial guilt and shame that tried to take hold of me, I sat with my son and realized it actually felt better to remain unapolegetic and own and share some of the madness, the rage, that shadow that is also me.
