Hats changed and so did the weapons. The 1911 .45auto pistol is one of my favorites!

60 people of all ages gathered at the Bailey Head in Oswestry at 10:10 on

10/10/10 and set off for a 4 mile cycle ride around the town, stopping at

various points along the way. Pensioners to children, mountain bikes to racers,

tandems with trailers. We finished at the Red Square in the town centre, and had

tea and coffee and biscuits and fruit at the Memorial Hall. Many smiles, and a

ride around town that would not have taken place without www.350.org and the

local organisation of the evnt by Andrew Tullo. Many thanks to all who took

part!

On Thursday, April 7, 2011 Teaching for Change, Busboys and Poets, and PM Press hosted the launch of Derrick Weston Brown’s poetry collection, Wisdom Teeth. Derrick is a Teaching for Change staff member, teacher, and Busboys and Poets Poet-in-Residence.

Teaching for Change board member Nzinga Tull and staff member Jonathan B. Tucker co-hosted the event. The evening began with testimonies from two fellow poets Fred Joiner and Alan King. Derrick Weston Brown then spoke about the book and read selections. Following his reading we opened the floor for testimonials and anecdotes from the audience, followed by a book signing. Read our interview with Derrick Weston Brown and purchase his book at our bookstore or online.

These people included a person known as Chill Will (far right) who broke his collar bone and had surgery Tuesday giving him two metal plates and four screws. He rode in the generous, AJ Phillips' (left side of sign), electric truck because Chill 'wouldn't miss this event for the world'. Moving Planet!

Meet the Green Change team, shown here shooting a video interview with Tamra Peters, director of Resilient Neighborhoods.

Green Change invites you to go green and help fight climate change with us. Our climate action network can help you reduce global warming in your own life, with the help of videos, local events, direct engagement and online tools. We inspire people to take climate action in creative ways: we make it feel good to go green, through helpful tips, positive feedback, and social connections.

Our growing team of activists, artists and environmentalists is led by multimedia innovator Fabrice Florin, with team leads Marilyn Price, Al Grumet and many friends and neighbors. We aim to support our partners in the North Bay climate action network.

Many thanks to all our contributos for your wonderful support of Green Change. We are honored to work with you and look forward to helping more people go green together.

Change is coming.
